Oggi mi sono divertita a testare questo delizioso tè giallo Honey Fairyland prodotto da Pu’Er Zuxiang HighMountain Tea Garden Co. L’ho ricevuto come premio di uno dei divertenti giveaway di Fredtea su Instagram!
Cultivar Yunkang 10, raccolto e lavorato a maggio 2018, zona Zhengwan Village nello Yunnan. Non vedevo l’ora di assaggiarlo!
Le foglie mi hanno subito colpito per il loro fresco aroma floreale. Dopo un risveglio di pochi secondi, ho fatto infusioni di 15″, 20″, 30″, 45″, 1′ e 1’30”, sempre con acqua a 90°C.
Una prima infusione leggera, dove il profumo di olio essenziale mi intrigava. Miele e fiori sono esplose nelle successive! Nella seconda e terza è comparsa frutta tropicale tipo litchi, e nella quarta e quinta un lontano sentore di cacao. Nessuna amarezza. Un liquore dorato brillante con una finitura burrosa rotonda che soddisfa il palato.
Insomma, sono stata proprio fortunata a vincerlo e degustarlo!

Today I enjoyed testing this delicious Honey Fairyland yellow tea from Pu’Er Zuxiang HighMountain Tea Garden Co. I received it as a reward for one of Fredtea Instagram fun giveaways! Cultivar Yunkang 10, harvested and processed in May 2018 in Zhengwan Village, Yunnan. I could not wait to taste it! The leaves immediately struck me with their fresh floral aroma. After a rinse of few seconds, I brewed at 15″, 20″, 30″, 45″, 1′ and 1’30 “, always with 90°C water. An initial light brewing, where the scent of essential oil intrigued me. Honey and flowers exploded later! In the second and third brew, tropical fruit appared, like lichis, and in the fourth and fifth Ines I found a distant hint of cocoa. No bitterness. A bright golden liquor with a round buttery finish that satisfies the palate. In short, I was lucky to win it and taste it!
